COMPASSION CHURCH IS A PLACE WHERE CHANGE TAKES PLACE:
Rather than being a building where people far from God are met with shame, guilt, and condemnation, Jesus leads us to be a family that extends His grace, mercy, and forgiveness to everyone. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, we want you to be a part of the family.
Kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place for them to learn about Jesus on their level. Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

Our Sunday services are an opportunity for people to come and enjoy time together—whether it's their first time or they've been coming for years. Being in community impacts lives and reminds us that we can't do life alone.
Who are the people who care most about you? Who you can laugh or cry the hardest with? That’s what community is all about—doing life with the support of people around you. We all have a next step to take, so why not take them together?
We believ that if anyone is going to change the world, it’s the next generation. Compassion Students is our student ministry for students in 6th-12th grade
OUR BELIEFS
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has existed eternally in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We reserve parking spots for our first time guests right in front of the worship entrance, so if you're new to Compassion Church, look for the visitor parking signs.

Look for the "New Here? Start Here" tent outside and our greeting team will meet you and show you where to answer any questions, find the auditorium, restrooms, and children's ministry building. If you need anything throughout the day—mints, a Bible, or a pen—feel free to stop by the Guest Services desk in the lobby. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you!

OUR LEADERS
After serving for 13 years in ministry at a church in North Carolina, Pastor Myron and Julie Scott felt called to step into a new season of ministry. In 2013, they moved to Gilbert, Arizona, to help revitalize a struggling church that was facing foreclosure. When they arrived, the church had dwindled to almost nothing, but they believed God had a greater vision for what the church could become. With faith, prayer, and a committed community, the work of revitalization began. In 2017, the church officially became Compassion Church, reflecting the heart of its mission—to love people, serve the community, and help people find and follow Jesus. Over the years, God has continued to grow and strengthen the church. In 2023, Compassion Church reached an exciting milestone by becoming fully self-supporting as a church. Today, Compassion Church is a life-giving church where people can experience God, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith. Pastor Myron serves as the Lead Pastor, bringing more than two decades of pastoral experience and a deep passion for helping people follow Jesus. Julie serves as the Ministry Director, overseeing ministry operations. She leads and supports several key areas including women’s ministry, kids ministry, and Compassion Prep Academy, helping create environments where families and individuals can grow in their faith and find community. The story of Compassion Church is still being written, and we believe the best chapters are still ahead. We would love for you to be part of the story.
